INSIPIRATION
Inspired byĀ the supernatural vision received by the Servant of God Sister Lucia of Fatima on June 13, 1929, in Tuy (Spain).
This vision concludes the cycle of Marian apparitions that began in Fatima on 13 May 13, 1917, intended for the Universal Catholic Church and, through it, for the whole world.
At the bottom is the altar on which priests celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. It is, therefore, a revelation concerning the Eucharistic mystery.
On the right is the visionary, Sister Lucia of Fatima.
The remaining design represents, in various images, what the Holy Mass actually is, beyond the visible sacramental signs, including the renewal of the Sacrifice of our Redemption, offered to the Most Holy Trinity by Christ the Redeemer and Mary the Co-Redemptrix. By virtue of this sacrifice, the Most Holy Trinity pours out Grace and Mercy upon the whole world, through the sacramental renewal of that same sacrifice, which takes place at every Holy Mass.
Let us look in more detail at the particulars of this representation.
* At the top, there is the Father, First Person of the Holy Trinity.
* The crucified man is Jesus, Second Person of the Holy Trinity, the Son of God and Mary Ever-Virgin.
* The dove between the Father and the Son is the Holy Spirit, Third Person of the Holy Trinity. (CONTINUE READING CLICK HERE)
CRUCIFIX
This component represents the vision of the Servant of God Sister Lucy of Fatima on June 13th, 1929, in Tuy (Spain). The Crucifix symbolizes the Holy Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and below is the altar, on which the priests celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. On the opposite side is the visionary, Sister Lucia of Fatima. Blood and water flow from Jesus' side (cf. Jn. 19:34), Christ's Blood falls on the Host and drips into the Chalice depicting the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The Chalice with the Host stands in the middle, between Jesus Crucified and the Immaculate and Sorrowful Heart of Mary, indicating Her union with the Redeeming Sacrifice of Her Son. At the side of the Crucifix is the Virgin Mary of Fatima, with her Immaculate Heart in her left hand. The beams of light emanating from Christ Crucified, and enveloping the Eucharist and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, represent theĀ "Grace and Mercy,"Ā which are the fruit of the Sacrifice of Christ and Mary, applied to the Church and all mankind, in each Holy Mass.
CENTERPIECE
The Immaculate Heart is opened to represent the passage through which we are called to enter. The thorns represent our difficulties ... but the steady gaze of Our Lady, in profile, watches and promises aid into the safe haven of her Immaculate Heart. The back ofĀ The CenterpieceĀ contains the wonderful words of hope Our Lady proclaimed:Ā āIn theĀ end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.ā
